Quincy Mike: yeah, you're right ... not sure how this pick worked its way in here, but the ORIGINAL rushing system play involves playing on any dog or favorite of 3 or less that runs and stops the run better than their opponent both in yards/game and yards/carry
Texas is NOT a play on the original system ... maybe it's just something that he likes, but there are plenty of other big-chalk teams that could fit into this criteria ... and that's the reason that they're normally "big chalk" teams!

bottom line ...
this is a system that I put up here a year ago and only I know everything about the system and how I pick the plays....
it would take me more time than I care to take teaching the world how I select my plays...
I put "RUSHING STAT PLAYS" on the thread so everyone will know who's plays they are...

well don't be afraid to clue us eager beavers in on how it works ---- I'd LOVE to know how your system works ... I just put the criteria that I remembered from last season

I am sure there are many variation on the "rushing stat" system that people use.
I like to check this thread weekly becuase it seems to be working very well. I did some similar calculating the last couple of weeks in college and I try to play the games that are the most lopsided as I look at them (again, using rushing stats for both teams). See Navy as an outright winner post a couple of weeks ago (had a nice thread going).
I say if it works, keep it up! Nice work again today. I'll sneak a peek tomorrow, and I hope it works just as well then.
